This past week we made a trip to Oklahoma to see my Grandparents and family. On the way down we stopped outside of Witchita and stayed with some of Nolan's family. This is Aunt Marci with Brenna and Brenna's second cousin David.
We had a great time with my Grandparents when we made it to Oklahoma. We saw lots of family and had a wonderful visit. Two of these pictures were taken on a night we went to a park and Blake got to ride a train and a merry-go-round. He's still talking about that train ride!
Lots of time spent outside. Lots of bubbles popped!
At the park, waiting for the train to arrive. Thanks for the great trip Grandma and Grandpa, it was so great to see you and we love you.
On our way back from Oklahoma, we went to a family reunion on Nolan's side of the family. Pictures to come!!

because we love.... hiking in the woods,
swimming in the pool,

parades and balloons,
and bike rides too!!

pictures
just a few random pictures from the past couple weeks...
Blake is thrilled about his new 'work shop' in his room. He likes to help daddy fix things around the house. The other night he was laying in bed and sang songs about going to Home Depot for a good half hour! Dad liked that!
Mmm, spaghetti! Brenna's first spaghetti and she loved it. She's still just a little peanut but will eat anything we put in front of her and often eats more than her brother at supper time.
Brenna's not too sure about the hug, but brother loves to give them.

we're home
I apologize for the lack of blogging lately- but if you've ever moved with two kids ages 2 and under, you can understand why! We are officially moved into our new house but not even close to feeling settled yet. There are still many boxes to unpack, rooms to paint and not enough time in the day to get everything crossed of our check list.
